Vote Solar is a nonprofit grassroots organization working to foster economic opportunity, promote energy security and fight climate change by making solar a mainstream energy resource. They work at the state level all across the country to support the programs necessary to re-power the grid with sunshine.
Recently, we had the opportunity to design and crate a series of banner signs for the annual Equinox Fundraiser hosted by Vote Solar. This year’s event took place on March 20th at the Historic Old Mint in San Francisco, and featured appearances by dignitaries such as California Governor Jerry Brown (pictured) and former California Public Utilities Commission commissioner Mark Ferron.
The funds raised at the annual Equinox event directly support the mission of Vote Solar to advance programs and policies that make solar energy more accessible and affordable across the nation.
The banners themselves have the distinction of being the first ones ever produced that feature the new Vote Solar Logo. The new logo signifies a more national footprint than the original, more regionally focused Golden Gate Bridge-themed logo. We at Blue Pond Signs are proud to have had the opportunity to work with Vote Solar, and we hope to see their signage continue showing up at events and on buildings across the country!
